If you wish for your holidays and your stay in Chania to be marked by the charm of a land with a rich history, tradition and beauty which combines the old with the modern and the countryside with the city life, then the âHotel Elia Bettoloâ is your best choice. The âElia Bettoloâ is in the historic center of Chania at the back of the towns Cathedral, in one of the liveliest quarters of the town. Its location lends itself for a walk to all the sights of the old town including the Venetian harbor, the Municipal Market, the Archaeological Museum, the Municipal Gallery, the Hebrew synagogue etc. and for a tour around the alleys that take you back in time and history. Right next to the hotel is Skrydlof street, the leather street of Chania or âStivanadikaâ as it is best known, where most of the towns shoemakers would make and sell the Cretan boots. This narrow street gives a distinct hue to the area and a feel one is in the middle of a bazaar. The âHotel Elia Bettoloâ combines a modern décor with the traditional features of the old town. It consists of 20 rooms, each equipped with air conditioning, fridge, mini bar, satellite TV, phone, hair-dryer, safe vault, and an espresso coffee maker. In our breakfast buffet, we offer traditional Cretan delicacies as well as treats from all over Greece along with hot and cold beverages. As entrance to vehicles is not permitted in the old town, should you need to park your car, you can do so in one of the municipal parking lots located 100-150 meters from the hotel or in the surrounding streets wherever parking is allowed.
