Horizon Beach Hotel, located in Plakias on the south coast of Rethymno, at the west end of thevillage, 400 mts from the centre, set by the sea,enjoys splendidly open views across the bay Right below there is a sand and shingle beach with clear water where you can swim. The sea bed is exclusive and ideal for snorkeling or underwater observations. Villages in the foothills of the mountains behind have wonderful views and a taverna or a kafenio are delightful destinations for different walks.As well as having glorious sea view, the Horizon enjoys a very peaceful position yet shops and tavernas are within easy reach on foot and the main beach is about a 5 minutes walk away. It is also very close to the Preveli monastery and to the famous Palm Beach.The hotel was recently fully renovated,it is modern stylish light and airy. The breakfast buffet is in the garden with a nice sea view.
